Mental Health Information and Local Resources

Mental Health has always been a topic that is difficult to talk about and share. As a physician office, it is a topic that we are ready and willing to review with you. We realize how hard it can be to say that you need help. These resources below are some places to start. Use them to find help but always keep in mind that we are here, ready to talk and help you.  When you are ready, call or book online. If you would like to keep your reason for visit private, just say "personal issue".

Northumberland Hills Hospital Community Mental Health - Provide COunselling services including walk/phone in clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Fourcast - Local addiction and substance use counselling and treatment services

 

Four County Crisis - Crisis services including a 24 hour crisis number

 

Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre - local resource and shelter for women and families

Northumberland Community Counselling Centre - provides counselling services at subsidized costs, physically located in Cobourg

Kinark Child and Family Services - Provides counselling and mental health services to youth in the area
